Foundations Workshops

The Foundations Workshop Series provides students with practical skills that support academic, personal, and professional success.

Designed for schools, community organizations, and youth groups, Foundations Workshops bring meaningful learning experiences directly to students.

Talent & Opportunity Summit

The Talent & Opportunity Summit connects students with colleges, employers, entrepreneurs, professionals, and community organizations through a day of exploration, networking, and opportunity.

Participants engage with institutions and leaders from a variety of industries while learning about educational pathways, career possibilities, internships, scholarships, and professional development opportunities.

The Summit is presented by The FAMADEA Foundation in support of its mission to expand access, exposure, and opportunity for young people.

After School Programming

Summer Intensive

The FAMADEA Summer Intensive is a signature leadership and enrichment experience designed to help students discover their gifts, develop their talents, and strengthen their readiness for college, careers, and community leadership.

Through a combination of workshops, guest speakers, cultural experiences, project-based learning, and professional development activities, participants engage in meaningful learning that extends beyond the traditional classroom.

Program components may include:

• Cultural Literacy and Enrichment
• Entrepreneurship and Innovation
• Civic Engagement
• Career Exploration
• Field Experiences and Institutional Visits

The Summer Intensive concludes with a culminating Summit and Showcase, where participants present projects, reflect on their learning, celebrate their accomplishments, and share their growth with families, guests, and community supporters.

Elements of the Summer Intensive may also be adapted for after-school, weekend, and school-based programming.

Leadership and Education Forum

The FAMADEA Leadership & Education Forum brings together educators, business leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, and community stakeholders for thoughtful conversations about education, leadership, opportunity, and culture.

Through recorded discussions, panel conversations, and special features, the Forum serves as a platform for sharing ideas, highlighting innovation, and exploring solutions to issues that impact students and communities.

The Forum is presented by The FAMADEA Foundation as part of its commitment to educational engagement and community dialogue.
